Am I the only one who is actually kind of excited for next year? I think KU has the potential to be very good. Also, they could be the exact same team :/

I don't think it was playing time with Grimes. He averaged 27 mpg as a freshman. If I recall, didn't he kind of fancy himself a point guard? My guess is that he wasn't quite the impact player he thought he might be. Throw in some homesickness as well and, well, there you go. No doubt Grimes would have helped A LOT this year...

Crazy to think that team had a future NBA all-star, the #1 overall pick, and a future consensus POY on its roster. And still busted out early.

How much of this has to do with the looming possibility that much of the season is cancelled due to the pandemic? Or at least greatly altered in terms of attendance? I know I'd be hesitant to buy tickets if I knew there was a decent chance games might get cancelled.

Salty Iguana? I've only had it a couple of times and found it very underwhelming as well.

My guess is Marcus, Ochai DMac, Mitch and Bryce to start the season.

There's about 40 points pg, or so, that KU will be missing from this past season. Good chance Ochai eats up 8-9 of that. McCormack most likely has a big junior season as well.
