Well, don't live too large T-Rob. I hope he can stay grounded and has a mentor he can rely upon for sound advice. When in doubt T-Rob call Mr. Self

Kids leave and transfer all the time. Had he been a useful tool he would have been playing....He always seemed like a good team mate from his actions from the bench.

Best wishes to him whereever he lands.

He may be or Bill has a way of inspiring a player to lay it all out there by signaling to them that it isn't a right of passage.

Look at how he handled TT.

I'm going to trust in Self and not be an armchair recruiter. Bill knows what he is doing and besides look at the talent Bill has developed. His strength is not baby sitting the "horse power" but turning good players in to great players.

Personally It doesn't bother me one bit to see Shabazz go elsewhere because I can't stand one and done basketball. You might as well just go watch AAU all star games. The kids that endear themselves to KU nation are those that stay, work hard, listen to the coaches and end up much better than expected. We get to watch the progress and development and become invested in the process.

Go Bill, you will NEVER hear me question you.

To me our Jayhawks accomplished a much greater degree of success than did Kentucky. Yes, Kentucky won the National Championship but they were expected to and they had all the pieces to do it with. Our young men on the other hand as good and talented as they are did more with what they had to get get to the final game where only Jayhawk nation would have predicted. Fabulous run.

I remember all the concerns and questions and all those on these very pages that were resigned to this years team being sub-par. Boy, they showed up didn't they?

I can't say enough good things about these guys and only wish for them they could have taken the title. I believe we all know that title does not define this team.

rcjh go ku
