The game is supposed to be on ESPN3, but I think it's blacked out in the KC area. Almost makes me want to google "ESPN3 Blackout Fix", click the first link and follow the simple directions. But, of course I wouldn't because that would be wrong. ;-)

I don't care if we're the 1 or 2 seed, as long as we're in the south (Dallas) bracket. It's not worth being the 1 seed if we end up playing Duke or Georgetown in Washington DC, or Indiana in Indianapolis!

Everyone knows Bill Self is a closet Bruce Weber fan. Coach Self really wanted to see his buddy get a share of the conference championship so when he saw kstate lose he knew what he had to do.

Actually, if I'm understanding the NBA rookie salary scale correctly the difference between 1st and 14th is about $2.7 million per year for 4 years [1]. It wouldn't be until his 5th year that any benefit of having a more rounded game from an extra year in college would pay off in terms of salary. Sadly, I don't see any reason for him to stay another year.

Perceived strength of a conference is important in the BCS. You don't have to root for KState if you don't want to, but no Big 12 football fan should be happy to see the Big 12 champ lose by 18 to the Pac 12 runner up.

So sorry to have offended you. Since only sports related comments are allowed here (I was not aware of that), please let me rephrase my argument.

I don't think Crist is going to single handedly resurrect KU Football in one year. He may make our offense instantly better, but our defense was atrocious this year. You say landing Crist is as important as Christmas? I say landing Crist is far less important than landing the right Defensive Coordinator. And anything sports related is far less important than Christmas and family (which are interchangeable in my mind).

I agree with you TexasHawk44. Thanks for posting. Last year my family spent Christmas at Children's Mercy Hospital. My daughter was there from 12/13 until 12/31. Being able to spend Christmas at home with my daughter healthy is FAR more important than what school some guy I've never met chooses to go to.

“Justin (Wesley) and Kevin (Young) are going to need to come in and give us good minutes. Really, no one can afford to slack off, so I expect their best every night.”
-Thomas Robinson

"I just want to see total improvement. I don’t think anybody played that well the other day. Statistically we were fine, other than turnovers (23). We need to do a much better job."
-Bill Self

Accountability??? Expectations??? This is the attitude we need to see from our football coach!!!
