This rids any fear that I had of this kid being a prima donna OAD. He will only be here one year, but this shows he still cares about the team, similar to Maclemore and unlike Xavier (who worked out at home over the summer instead of bonding with the team.)

This is a special team!

Exactly.

Look, this is the same guy that scored 39 points and single handedly destroyed Iowa State in the second half in Aimes. Self was right to give it to his SENIOR. and Tharpe taking the last shot worked pretty well at Oklahoma State when he won it in the final seconds. Michigan was a top 5 team all season and played like it. Look forward to next season.

The tournament is all about getting lucky 6 games in a row. I would love for us to get another championship, but let's be honest - it's all about luck. These gentlemen kept the Big 12 streak alive which means this season was still a huge success in my opinion.

With Self as coach, we are in contention every single season. Bring on October!

Getting to the final four was great... but the situation and the mood of the Missery game was too good. The fact that we blew the game in Columbia, Missery was incredibly arrogant that year, and the fact that we were down the whole game, and T--Rob (one of the most loved players of all time) had not only tied the game with a 3 point and 1... but also had the block on the other end. So many things set the table for what was a really memorable game.

As long as our freshmen deliver and seniors play solid, this league is ours to lose. I'm just surprised people think a Scott Drew led team can compete with us.

Baylor?? I hardly know her!

(ensuing laughter and applause)

Please! You guys have been great. Thank you so much for having me.

(standing ovation, cheering gets even louder)

No really! I am so humbled. Thank you.

(Cheering gets louder, angry, mob starts forming)

You are too kind! I don't deserve this kind of applause.

(Mob attacks man, forces him out of town.)

There is absolutely no surprise here. Got him in case Adams couldn't make the team, and did not want to red shirt or ride the pine for 4 years. I can completely understand this decision. I don't want to be overly optimistic, but do you guys think this might mean that Anrio is even better than advertised...?

This is exactly what I thought when I read the title of this article.

Size, pedigree, mild personality, humble, kobe-esque work ethic and dedication to fundamentals/defense. This guy is the definition of Jayhawk basketball. Kentucky can have their arrogant OAD guys, we'll take guys like this!

Cool. I would rather we feast on Kentucky tears... But still cool.
