Ben Heeney is 6' but JaCorey is 5'11"? Unless that field has a downhill slope I'd say it's the other way around. I could see Ben being a stud on Special Teams...my Jets could use a stud like him anywhere on the field!

I heard an announcer last year comment Selden's shot being awful, his release is poor and his mechanics just awful. He was so correct - and you cant hide that. He has heart, an NBA body but can't score. They need to seriously work on breaking his bad shooting habits for him to be successful on this level or beyond. Do it now.

Agree. Very poorly done.

What are the chances guys like Taylor who leave the league actually get a return shot? Sheraton recently was talking about the same thing. I have to assumethe likelihood is very very low. But hey, going overseas and making better money than any office job is not a terrible fall back for a few years. Look at Langford. He should write a book on how its done because he has certainly played the overseas system masterfully.
Great to see the guys back and working hard. I think most had that within them before coming to KU but Self and company sure helped solidify that fight, tenacity, and no-quit mentality. Rock Chalk.

The kid is not lacking in the confidence department. Got to like that.

Good point. Id like to see him really emerge as a true leader and get more serious PT. He can change a game in the way DJack did in '08. His energy off the bench bailed us out many times.

I watched the dunk contest last night which featured both Alexander and Oubre. What stood out to me more than their physical talent was Alexanders enthusiasm. He was pumping guys upbefore and after dunks, cheering, going up to his friends and bear hugging them after a dunk...literally making his presence known in a positive way without the ball in his hands. I was reminded of TRob. This years team seemed to be lacking a guy like that. A big, boisterous, powerful, passionate presence - night in and night out. Cant wait. I also think that Hudy will carve those dudes up.

Hard to imagine Lyle or any young recruit not being sold on KU. I hope he finds what he is looking for at KU! Is Cliff going to be there also? It would be good if they invited him - he's our lead recruiter!

Any chance Tyshawn sees the NBA again?
Ben has a golden opportunity but the opportunity won't last for long. If you can't stand out on the Kings roster you will be lucky if you can ride the pines on another NBA team.
