The biggest problem faced by Warren's ideas for the future is that fans of the old rivalries are gradually dying off. And the numbers will be greater than those he can attract to the new model. They will see this, but fortunately old guys like me will not have to live with their lifetime love disappearing from the scene.
Who knows if we will still want him in 2 years. This staff will likely move on. By then if he can't play for Baylor he would likely be a back up for us.

It wasn't Self that didn't do his job against UK, it was the players. And that is no criticism to them. It was the first time all year they played a team faster, bigger and better than they. Next time the score will be closer but UK will beat us every time we play them. Just like 2012.
KU fans have shown they will come and support FB if our team is well coached. Both Mason and Mangino proved it. The advantage now is we have an excellent staff plus a very solid AD for the first time in forever. Beginning the last half of '22 we will see the increase in fan support begin.
