I think the running game might be more potent with the additions. The OL should be better, and hopefully a couple of guys will emerge to become deep threats to keep the safeties off the line of scrimmage. Every level of the defense should be better. They might need some time to find their identity but I have confidence in Lance.

It's difficult to predict, but the last three games of last season would seem to be a sign that there is a chance to get to 4, maybe even 5 wins this season.

Conference Foes that we could have a chance to win. TCU, West Virginia, Texas(we beat them last year in Austin), and there could be chance to be competitive and have a chance to win against K-State and maybe Texas Tech. 3 wins in the conference will probably be enough to not finish in last place, but I think a realistic goal for this season would be 5 wins, and it is also aggressive. I think it is necessary to be aggressive.

If you don't want to talk politics here, then why would you say something as absurd that MAGA, "always on the lookout for a way to preach their bigoted/racist ideology"? Jonathan said nothing about MAGA. You did. Says more about you than him.

Arizona did grow from 2010 to 2020 by about 760,000 people which is a little less than 12% growth. Washington, Oregon, Utah, Colorado, and Nevada all had more than 10% growth in population. That doesn't mean that that automatically means that they're going to be fans of those college programs in those states, but the advertising revenues will go up at those rates. Utah is probably one of the better fits to join with BYU because of that rivalry. The Oregon/Oregon State rivalry might be beneficial and the Washington/Oregon Rivalry. I am not sure about the Colorado rivalries since they departed from the Big 12. Colorado would be beneficial for teams in the Big 12 now. Boulder is pretty close to Denver and there is a lot of alumni in Denver. I would agree with the four you listed as the first to be offered, but I wouldn't want to burn bridges with the Oregon and Washington schools. The other teams that would remain in the PAC12 would be in a bad situation and would be seeking new homes if the Big 12 expands to 16 teams with the schools you listed. The PAC12 would be whittled down to just 6 teams. I don't think it would be a bad deal to shoot for 20 by offering the first 4 teams as a package deal and the second 4 teams as a package deal to get into a conference that could end up with 20 schools. If the latter does happen the 2 teams leftover from the PAC12 could go to the Mountain West. The markets are state wide for the schools, and if you could both teams from Washington and both from Oregon, that would add value to our Conference.

With all that said, The University of Kansas needs to get the ball rolling on either building a new stadium or getting the renovations to Memorial Stadium done to include an increase in capacity to hold more fans. Some policy changes might work as well, such as permanently allowing the sales of beer and other liquors at the stadium and telling people that if they leave at halftime, they cannot reenter.

I agree. Jalen is already a good rebounder. I think what he might need to improve the most is looking for his teammates when he's driving to the basket. Yes, 40% from 3 would get him to 15pts. per game. Get his FT percentage up 10 percentage points, he could get to 17 or 18 a game.

Congratulations Wiggins! That is all I got to say. I generally don't watch the NBA and I didn't watch the finals so I can't say anything from what I saw with my own eyes. I think it's good that there are Jayhawk alumni associated with the status that goes with a pro league championship game or series.

This is fair. If he get's into the NCAA tournament a couple of times in that 6 year period, he'll get a 1 year extension and if the program is poised to reach again soon or the following season, he'll get a new, longer contract with higher compensation guarantees, especially if they win the Conference one or both of the times they get into the NCAA tourney. And if they get to the College World Series, they can agree to a new contract before this one expires.

It is a great opportunity for him. Opportunities involve challenges and those that overcome them become quite successful. This looks like a super good hire. I think his positivity is going to be great for the program.

With some of these younger guys and the additional depth in the backcourt.

Josh Galler,

I think we're missing KJ Adams at either the 4 or 5 and I think Yesefu could fill it at point to spell Harris at times as well as the other youngster. Don't know how deep we will be able to go, but could be 8 or 9 deep regularly.

This is good! With one of them on a team that won 3 consecutive state championships in Texas is a pretty big deal. Went from not even being on the list on Rivals to 57th in a week. This is a good start for the 2023 recruiting class. My interest is peaking. Given the way we finished last season, even though it was 1-3, we showed we can play with some of the teams in the conference and I think it's going to get better.
