If you've watched that second even half a few times (haven't we all?), you can see that Juan had as much to do with that win as anybody on the team. Slo-mo would probably reveal a half-dozen turnovers by him and just as many stops. UNC only scored 29 points in the half, and here's the man who caused that.

I think that was a busted play on UNC. You can see Brady Manek racing for the corner and a 3-point shot, but he falls down enroute. If true, it means the poor guy busted both of their last two plays, since he'd previously thrown the ball out of bounds

Disaster! Anyone buying this load of weak PR is not a BBall fan. Now, 4 big 12 schools have made smart moves while KU fumbled themselves into a 3-tier existence. It's a dramatic betrayal of Bill Self and his magnificent program. Now we must really worry about losing Bill Self, and he really can't be blamed- when that happens we will officially be left at Missouri Valley level. This is destruction by Inattention.

"Egregious" and "defiant behavior" sound like an offended prom queen with hurt feelings. Or more to the point, an aging autocrat with a weak argument who's trying for sympathy. Time to give the NCAA the coup de gras in court.

KU needs to take this to court. The NCAA statement has a tone that's emotional and whiney, not substantive. Scare tactics get their judgment in court, and this one looks like a loser.

Taking the NCAA report on it's own, there is a strange tone of indignation that's out of place in a legal argument. Words like "egregious" are overstatements that suggest hubris and an attempt to gain sympathy when the underlying argument is weak. A disputatious front to substitute for an effective argument.

To pretend that this is a degradation of "amateur" sports is kinda laughable, isn't it? How many years has is teen since Calipari sent the first freshman directly to the pros, relegating college to a kind of farm system but unpaid and subject to intensive illegal bribery?:Now, if we actually gave a crap about education, we'd level the field with scholars, who attract only Debt, not riches, from the college experience.

Who is behind these spurious charges against Jayhawks? Its been a litany of "suspicion" "connected with" and "person of interest" all leading to nothing, but no doubt swinging the odds in Las Vegas to somebody's benefit. Is there a dirty repoter on the Star or in the Lawrence police?
