Maybe you saw it but I never thought Alexander made made much difference. It will be interesting to see where he goes and whether he makes it in the NBA.

It was Oklahoma. Sayers ran for touchdown at end of game. He was so worn out that he wasnot in for 2-point conversion. A reverse that scored and KU won 15-14. Oklahoma won all of the game except the first and last minutes.

For those with a short memory and likely were among savaging Ty Taylor when he was a junior he proved them a bunch of numbskulls as a senior. Think we would have won the conference or played for the NC without his great improvement between his junior and senior years.?

What limited playing time Rio had looked pretty good to me. Having second thoughts about leaving is just a reflection of some frustration and most of the better players have had some time with frustration. rio stay. There will be playing time this coming year. Two years of coaching withe CS will show and you will be glad you did. Whether you play professional ball or want to coach the upside of staying in a premier program is huge.

i missed the news that Johns Hopkins had moved to Cleveland. And that Coach Andy Enfield played for Hopkins there. The last time I looked Hopkins was in Baltimore and is generally recognized at the best medical school in the USA(and probably the world.)

Roy Williams was one of a very few(and all successful KU coaches.) KU made his career happen but at the same time he continued KU's role as the St. Andrews of college basketball. Some of the peanut heads that can't spell might boo but given the KU crowds reputation as knowledgeable basketball fans let's hope we greet Roy the way we should, with loud cheers.
I have watched KU basketball since the fall of 1939-first as a Boy Scout Usher, later as a student and then for many years as an intensive alum. I could tell you stories of KU basketball that go back to then. Not uncommonly when someone tries to pull my chain about UK or NC basketball I have to remind them that both teams play in arenas named for KU BB players.
Roy Williams and Bill Self are class guys, great coaches who did many good things around Lawrence that were not basketball and deserve our admiration and thanks
