Dotson leads the league in scoring with 18.4 points per game. How does he do that if he can't shoot? He's tied (with Marcus Garrett) for fourth in assists with 4.4 per game. If he had shooters like Devonte and Svi that number would be much higher.

Growing up in the Kansas City region, it always felt like the real rivalry was with Mizzou. "Border War" and all that. The "Antlers" were a particularly heinous bunch of fans. For such a long time, KSU just couldn't begin to compete in basketball anyway. Hard to have a rivalry with a team that simply cannot beat you.

Fear might be a useful tool in football, where you want to "speed up" a player – run faster, hit harder. But Self wants the game to "slow down" for his players. He wants them to play within themselves and let the game come to them. Fear works in the opposite direction of that.

Was Vick asked to leave? Wasn't it his choice? It certainly appeared that Self held the door to return open for the first few weeks.

Are we talking about Wayne Selden of the Chicago Bulls, or Josh Selby of the Incheon Elephants of the Korean Basketball League?
