You're taking my words and twisting them Allin. Where did I say violence was okay and just because I'm not getting dramatic, doesn't mean that I condone violence towards anyone. I do firmly believe that people should be given second chances if they deserve it and that a young person's future shouldn't be taken away, IF rehabilitation is possible. Gee Allin, does that help better explain my stance? You backtrack like a SOB too, just saying. I don't really care for drama and flare, I find it to be counter productive.

I know I may take some heat for this; but it's my opinion and I accept that people have knee jerk reactions. My thought is how does it benefit anyone involved to simply turn your back on someone that obviously needs help? What kind of message does that send, that if you make a mistake that your future is destroyed forever? If a person can learn and change and hopefully help others, shouldn't that be the goal, not piling it on and using questionable words like "thug" or "garbage"? If we as a society care about the future leaders of society, than we should offer a path towards rehabilitation, not a path that just punishes and gives no hope. This doesn't mean that I condone any type of violence, but I do believe that people are capable of changing and learning from their mistakes. If that's possible in this case, I hope that's what happens. Like I said, just my opinion. Rock Chalk everyone!

Does the LJW even have access to coaches or players? It seems like all the football articles are second hand and not directly from the source (obviously I'm human, so room for error I hope)? Is there not a good relationship with the paper and the athletic department at KU? I love this paper, I grew up reading it and even delivered it when I was a kid, I'd just like to see more meaningful articles instead of so much fluff.

Not sure if this article was updated or not? It clearly says in the last paragraph that those players signed with KSU.

Doesn't soccer have the most concussions reported of all sports? That doesn't mean I don't love soccer and would love to see a KU men's soccer team, those would amazing jerseys.

That gets a slow clap Bryson, a very slow clap.

If what you say is true Bryson, than the university is full of idiots. The majority of ticket holders now are most likely well to do and obviously don't show up to games based on all the empty seats! Let's be honest, FB & BB bring in big $ when the fans show up and care. If KU doesn't want to figure out how to get more people on board to support the team both at the games and in the pocket book, that sounds like the same kind of people that would keep Zenger and Beaty around. A bunch of fools. Obviously you want to be a part of the KUFB thing, I just want to see them win occasionally or maybe more than that. I don' see how anyone can slam someone for being down on this program and the people involved outside of the students. 10k at a power 5 FB game is nothing to brag about.

Perfect reply!

Because those two yahoo's are the reason KUFB sucks right now. That's why the fan base keeps going back to the root of the problem, because it's not being addressed by anyone from KU. Until the $h*+ storm known as Zenger/Beaty blows through, I'd expect to see these types of comments.
