Isn't this year the largest margin of all 13 consecutive regular conference championships? Four games seems huge after so many seasons that were down to the wire, and four or five which were ties.

I don't believe laying a good, solid whipping on anybody in the conference would be considered "shocking" by any stretch of imagination.
We are Kansas! Beating mediocre/good/terrific teams is what we do ... not EVERY game, but over 85% of them since 'aw shucks' GoodOleRoy went home so long ago.

This is your comment, after reading the article delineating half a dozen reasons the current use of personnel is better? Is your comprehension not what it should be?
Having Lagerald available to change the energy level and force opponents to deal with a new dynamic on the court is a luxury most teams lack –– sort of like carrying an extra magazine for your .45 automatic.

They were there, but not with the usual name ...

I thought his ACL was torn during a workout prior to NBA draft after his frosh season. There were fewer 'one and done' ten years ago, so it may have been his soph season. Either way, we can be thankful Brandon decided to do his rehab in Lawrence and put another year on his stellar career at AFH.

If we go back as far as Wilt, don't want to ignore BH Born and Bill Bridges.

"Best player" is an over-statement. It certainly was a great leap from previous performances and augurs well for his finishing the season strong. His emergence from recovery to solid contributor (if it continues) bodes well for relief of some pressure on Landen as lone post presence.

Fact is, TCU is an also-ran in the toughest conference in America. They do play better than any other team occupying lower half of this year's league standings. Just haven't learned to put 40 minutes together against the top dogs ... three of the top ten teams nationally make it tough for the other seven BXII teams to show the quality of their individual programs.

"I once suffered from the same condition."
Is your use of the word "once" indicative of 'one time only' or is it 'for a period of time in the past', as in 'Once Upon A Time' ??

I still think of Svi...liuk as the skinny kid from Ukraine, even though he has reached the age of a college freshman. I do believe fatigue is becoming a bigger factor in his play –– this has been a grueling season. The use of a few minutes of zoneD helps, but he could use a 'breather' oftener than we've been getting him one. Being a half step slow is as much mental as physical – his anticipation suffers. Same is true of turnovers.
Lagerald's take on using bench time to scout opponents makes me see leaving the starting assignment as is, still using Vick to provide spot relief for Frank, Devonté, Josh as well as fill more minutes for the youngest, deadliest Jayhawk. We need them all, hopefully without foul problems.
