Bill Self leaving Kansas is an event I hope to never live through.. Dealing with Larry Brown leaving was the most difficult non-family event I've ever had to deal with....until it was announced some guy named Roy Williams was taking over. As if that wasn't bad enough, dealing with Roy's departure was worse of all. Hiring Bill Self wasn't so bad but contemplating Self leaving is something new unheard of thing to deal with....sort of like dealing with aliens taking over the planet.

The first half, I felt like we were all watching the '11 VCU game all over again. Although the first couple of minutes in the first half was a huge relief, it was the look on Mac face, caught by CBS after his put pack, that set my mind at ease knowing we had this game.
Other than SP, the three lowest KenPom teams are in our region. We had planned to go to Chicago this weekend but we attended the San Antonio games referenced and witnessed that VCU tragedy. However, we use to live in Chicagoland and have a couple of bottles of Remy Martin Cognac Fine Champagne to hopefully celebrate with our friends.
