If Okafor wants to have a truly memorable one year of college ball, it's rock, chalk, Jayhawk all the way!

It's great to have the luxury of so much talent. Every year the skill level is getting higher and higher. With the players that we have, it is very difficult to choose the best ones. It basically comes down to who has the best attitude, the best work ethic and who best fits into the puzzle. I do not envy having CBS's job.

It will interesting to see if Zach can develop as much as Jeff Withey did at KU.

If there is one thing I would tell Wiggins and the entire team: enjoy the ride and make the most of every moment because it will be over so quickly. I hope they enjoy it so much they will all want to do it again next year.

I believe coach Self knows a good deal when he sees one. He cannot beat the situation he has with KU. It's a great environment to live and coach. At this stage in his life I don't believe he would relish living in the asphalt jungles somewhere. When you compute the cost of living in one those dumps and the milling mob of humanity he would have to deal with every day, living in good ole Lawrence looks awfully good. He can enjoy all the good things life has to offer without subjecting himself to all the headaches and problems everyone of those franchises would bring.

I hope Andrew White can be a factor this year. With the way he shoots, he could become unconscious and make 30 sometime. With so much talent on the team, I would think Self would be able to rotate two completely different teams to keep everybody fresh.

This schedule can only help us in the long run. I'm sure if CBS had it to do over again, he wouldn't change a thing. It's one thing to be a veteran team and another to be young and super talented. They should develop very quickly. I'm not worried.

Like any great team, it's going to take a great "closer"; someone who can take charge, take command, get the job done and lead us to the promised land.
