Well #94 on OSU was NFL starter quality and that was Stanley's game. So that ruins that stat as a good comparison.

Oh no Beaty is still the coach --- ugh

Why don't you investigate Zion's family situation. Are his parents miraculously in Durham with good "jobs"? That would be excellent journalism.

I don't think they scout the opponent.

What 2 turnovers? Stanley played very well. Cowboy #94 was an NFL quality beast as well

I think that the offensive play calling was the best I have seen from Meacham. There was some creativity and surprise. For instance the long Pooka run was set up by running the same play two snaps earlier with Stanley keeping. The second time they ran it the defenders were frozen deciding if Stanley or Pooka had the ball. The 4th and 3 touchdown throw was a good call whether it succeeded or not. The dreaded bubbles served a purpose this game to actually spread the ball and the defense. I am glad they tried to run first and then altered. I am glad they ran on some 3rd and longs. Can the receivers please run their route to the marker on 3rd down? - that's so little league. Why again do we not run clock if we know we are weaker or slower? Can't we counteract by being smarter? Is the tight end 2nd and long route still MIA?

I have been a Stanley fan all along. He make decisions quicker than the others and usually has a quick release. He did really good today despite the OL being #94's play toy. That guy makes a difficult game for any qb and Stanley excelled. Any long route was impossible to complete because the speed the pocket collapsed.

Is the defense frequently out of position? I can't really tell what the linebackers are actually playing. I am glad they got back to decent tackling the 2nd half - I had thought tackling was one area we had really improved yoy.

The Beaty clock is one game closer to striking!!

Stanley wasn't worse than Bender . If Benders stats are slightly better he had 4 tds and 364 yards against SEMO. His real weakness was unveiled vs Ohio and 5 sacks. Stanley threw for 418 against K-State. The serious problem for both qbs was that rushing 4 could create such havoc for our offense. 7 back is not qb friendly.

Jay Scott please just go away. You think much too highly of yourself.

Is this article from the onion? Is it April? Wow those are big changes! I have that eerie feeling that something that sounds real good is actually real bad after a while.
