As of now, I say start Tharpe. You should give the players who give you the best chance to win the most minutes, and that's currently Naadir Tharpe at PG.
I agree that EJ isn't a natural PG and has done a lackluster job (that +11 efficiency rating and 16ppg from Tyshawn doesn't seem so critique worthy now does it...EJ is now +2 after being -2) but if you start Naadir then who do you sit? EJ for Travis? Kevin? I think what we have now in Tharpe coming in off the bench first and playing the 1 when he is in the game is the best option. It lets EJ play his natural position for a span to get some open looks (which usually gets him in more of a rhythm when he starts handling the ball again). Elijah was a HUGE part of our success in the tourney last year and this isn't his first February slump. I think the confidence clicks back in in the next few games and he gets back in rhythm.

And the love affair with Tharpe continues.
I mean, the guy put up ONE half of really solid play. Clearly he should be starting.

Silly poll, Elijah's our starter.
Tharpe will get his minutes off the bench and have an opportunity to earn a starting role next season. Rock Chalk

There is a slight chance that after tonight the results of this poll might change. How about resetting the poll, just for fun.

Things still run smoothest w/ Naadir at point and EJ at the 2 spot. EJ is still this team's heart and soul.
