No...........the University fired the only coach (Mark Mangino) who had a shred of hope of shoring up the football program. Mangino was offensive line coach at Oklahoma in their national championship year. Go figure.

Strongly agree with Benton.
Beaty jacking around with QB's is killing this offense.
Bender is a proven guy. He put up big numbers at WSU, and was beat out by a heisman candidate.
Give him loyalty and let him run with the offense.

How does the KU athletic department manage to do so well in handling the basketball program but look totally incompetent managing the football program? Is KU satisfied with Beaty as the Coach? Why is he being given so much time to turn things around? I hope he's fired and replaced before he digs the program to new depths of despair. Kansas deserves better than this!
