Terre Haute, Ind. Kansas sophomore Sharon Lokedi earned all-America honors for the second consecutive season after placing fifth overall at the NCAA cross country meet Saturday at the LaVern Gibson Championship Course.
Lokedi clocked in with a 6,000-meter time of 19:52.2.
The fifth-place finish was the best performance in the history of the KU women's cross country program. Lokedi took 10th at the 2015 NCAA Championships, and is the first Kansas women's cross country runner to become a two-time all-American.

Great accomplishment. It seems that so many Kansas sports are becoming nationally relevant. Somehow, the Chicken Littles still think the AD should be fired.....

Just the ones that think FB is the only thing that matters, and W's at that. So much more, and there's a huge hole to dig out of before we consistently get W's. If people are paying attention though, we are making progress across the board.
