KU players on win over Vermont in home opener

Lagerald Vick, Udoka Azubuike and Quentin Grimes spoke to reporters following KU’s 84-68 win over Vermont Tuesday at Allen Fieldhouse.

Vick led the way with a career-high 32 points on 12 of 14 shooting, while Azubuike added 23 points on a 10-for-17 effort from the field.

“I put up a lot of shots after the game we played against Michigan State,” Vick said. “We had an off night, but I didn’t sit back on that. I just came out ready to play.

Kansas plays host to Louisiana at 7 p.m. Friday.
