Class of 2019 Kansas commitment Christian Braun will be in the house on Thursday night when No. 1-ranked Kansas kicks off the exhibition part of its schedule against Emporia State at 7 p.m. at Allen Fieldhouse.

Braun, the No. 112-ranked player in the 2019 class according to Rivals.com, committed to KU on Sept. 17 and has been to Lawrence plenty of times for a handful of KU games and unofficial visits.

With his commitment behind him and his future set in stone, the 6-foot-6, 180-pound shooting guard can focus both on his upcoming prep season and learning as much as he can about the KU program between now and the time he reports to campus for the first time next summer.

Braun will begin his senior season at Blue Valley Northwest on Nov. 3, when the Huskies look to begin their quest to capture back-to-back Kansas Class 6A state titles.

While Blue Valley Northwest will play the bulk of its games in Overland Park this season, Kansas fans around the Pittsburg and St. Louis, Mo., areas can also see the future Jayhawk in action this season.

Check out BVNW's complete 2018-19 schedule for details and game times.

He may end up being The Lone Recruit.

How can you possibly call yourself a fan with that type of attitude? Mizzou will gladly take you, but, as a Jayhawk fan, I want no part of you!

Relax Dan. There are plenty of folks that are at least that negative. It has just been a while since there was much in the way of negative comments directed at BB.

It is interesting to see a verbal commitment characterized as set in stone. Even LOIs are only paper and treated only slightly better than that it seems.
