- Malik Newman: Scored 20 of his career-high 30 points in the first half. Made 4 of 6 3-pointers and 11 of 15 field goals. Had just one rebound, but also did not commit a single turnover.

- Svi Mykhailiuk: Solid all-around effort for the senior. Totaled 13 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals.

- Devonte’ Graham: Defended Kendall Smith well and overcame a first-half that included four turnovers. Didn’t shoot well, but finished with 10 points, four rebounds and nine assists to go with six turnovers and two steals. Made 1 of 5 3-pointers.

- Mitch Lightfoot: Fouled out in 23 minutes and many of them were not good fouls. Two came on illegal screens, one when he grabbed a player at the high post, another on a 3-point shooter. Battled hard inside, though, ran the floor hard and finished with eight points and six rebounds.

- Silvio De Sousa: He’s still too easy to score on, but he's also the team’s best rebounder. Totaled six points and eight rebounds in 15 minutes.

- Lagerald Vick: During a strong second half, he picked up all 11 of his points, both steals and 4 of 5 rebounds. No surprise then that with the X factor engaged the team played much better in the second half.

- Marcus Garrett: Contributed four points and sound defense to the cause in 17 minutes on the floor.

Play like a team, play hard, play smart, play defense, and you can beat any team that doesn't.
