Michael Maris

This far into his Sophomore season, Mike Lee shouldn't be missing as many tackling opportunities as he does. He seems to be a player who just wants to make the highlight films for ESPN or FOX Sports evening news shows.

Maybe this rating thing should go away til you can find players worthy of being rated

That was my first thought as well. This ratings thing is pretty much a sham when your best rated player - and 6 of the top 10 - are on a defense that gave up 65pts.

The only thing I'd put on the ratings is the white helmets teamed with the red jerseys, I really thought we looked good...until the game started anyway!

Mike commented that learning to make all the tackles was his focus this season and not just the highlights.

Also worth remembering this should have been his first year. This also is not BB where we get 5* ready to play players.

Opposing OCs will find the weak link so a few players won't be enough. We all should have known the DBs were decimated after last year.
