Yes that's great but if the player themselves don't want to stay in Kansas whether the team is winning or not what can you do? If the home growns now want to grow up else where then your point is pointless

Really Brian l mean really? So some how a local kid will try harder than someone from Xanadu? God give me a break with your pie in the sky thinking. Wins are wins. This team has plenty of local talent but still hasn't won. Joe Dineen great player, not alot of wins. Les Miles doesn't win hes gone as well. You mean its ok for a local kid to play at Clemson or Wisconsin but KU so try soo hard to get the locals, when the locals take their talent elsewhere? If they cared so much about family and friends they would stay home. No they go to where their talents can be best utslized and what is best for them. Where they come from wont make a difference the wins are ultimately what matters. What makes YOU feel good Brian is if they come from Kansas.

I get the instate recruit thing I do, but this team needs talent anywhere they can find it. So if there is a talented player not from Kansas them lets welcome them with open arms. A lot of instate recruits are going elsewhere even with Kansas recruiting them. So lets not just say that Kansas needs to recruit them, those players have to want to come and play here and clearly they do not. If an instate recruit chooses to go elsewhere then fine, but if Kansas doesn't have a lot of instate recruits and can still win, are the wins not as good because there wasn't a lot of instate talent on the team? The two don t go hand in hand. If the instate recruits don't want to come here then the team can rightfully look else where for talent and no one should complain.

It might be a good idea to look for a running back now.

Lets not put this in perspective Bryson by saying violence against women is a horrible thing no let's just focus on how this only affects the football team. Go back to not posting. You're so ignorant its pathetic.

You know what Doug you really are a jerk or just plain stupid. Violence against women is a cowardice thing to do but you try to make light of it by saying KU firing Mangino is a curse that won't go away. You are so ignorant. You really shouldn't post anymore.

I can't wait to see what schemes and plays they can come up with for the offense. There is a lot of talent on that side of the ball.

No seriously Beaty's keys to victory.
1) Have confused look on your face that is usually planted there after opening kickoff.
2) Wait until last second to send in plays, resulting in multiple delay of game penalties or using timeouts.
3) Keep switching QBs during the game. If one is more effective than the other, put in the worse of the 2 QBs. Resulting in multiple false start pensalties.
4) Leave gaping holes in defense, let OU tire themselves out with plays of 80 yards or longer.
5) Be sure to have a "walk around" guy.
