Allen Fieldhouse has been electric and incredibly loud this season, so it's not the fans. Wish these players would feed off the energy we're throwing their way.

I'm as conservative as they come, and I think Beaty's the right guy.

''disagreeing with me makes you not a real fan, even if you went to every game, and every hawk walk, and every hawk talk, and supported the team."

It's all speculative drivel, man. Anything they can use to be proven right

"Wasn't asking fans, was asking supporters of Beaty."
That's right, mike, because me braving freezing temperatures and going to every game three hours early and supporting this team.... yeah, not a real fan despite that because I think the program is on the right path.
You're getting answers to your question, John. You just don't like them. 100% responsible, id generally agree with you, sure. The handshake is a nothing burger. It's exactly what Tom called it, that being, a macguffin.... one to use because you need to use any possible controversy you can against the admin. We just disagree... yet somehow that disagreement makes one side lose fan status. .

So should he be fired for Baker Mayfield's more egregious behavior? Or is the lack of a handshake after both teams were trash talking all of a sudden the biggest fireable offense you can think of?
My support of Beaty and co. Is unpopular, I get that... it's why I haven't posted much on here this season, because I recognize that opinions like this one are generally not welcome here, so forgive me if from my perspective it feels like people are making a big deal over nothing so they can gather up as much ammunition they can find against a coach they don't like. I see legitimate improvement in the program after Beaty's 2-3 years (we all knew year one was gonna go the way it did).
I had a radio guy rant to me last night about how nothing's changed in the past eight years... I disagree, I think we've seen genuine improvement culturally and in certain areas over the last two, and even so, you can't attribute 6 of those 8 years to Beaty.
I just don't buy the fake outrage over something that had it happened under say, mangino, you'd all praise as grit and toughness. I'm not one to generalize, though... there are just a lot more egregious crimes a team can commit than not shaking a punks hand.
