glad to see X and Kieff getting solid, productive minutes, and good to see Marcus getting some action on the court as well.

Rock Chalk B-Mac. Wishing you the best in the L! Maybe make a splash and give us another pro team to root for?

this is just beautiful work, jnewell. Thanks again for this and all of your analysis all season. Once this tournament draws to a close, I'll miss your bball stories as much as I miss watching this team.

I have had this argument about Frankamp's impact several times with my friends. I'm afraid that his size qualifies him only to play the point at the D1 level. Self has traditionally been hesitant to allow his points to put up tons of shots (with the exception of Sherron when Self urged him to get more aggressive offensively). Also, in watching video, many of Frankamp's points seem to come from slashing drives and layups. At 160lbs, he's going to have trouble scoring that way in the Big 12

great to see T-Rob get some solid minutes and produce solid play for the Rockets! Much better fit being out from under Cousins' wing.

that fan that rushed Self was jumping up and down right on the sideline all game, yelling at refs and exclaiming outrage when calls didn't go ISU's way. I noticed him going crazy pretty much the whole game. Makes sense he was the one who got a little heated. You can see him clearly in the highlight video above at the 1:38 mark on the bottom of the screen.

"only" 6 inches and 15 pounds... "only" an NBA career vs. an overseas career

Can someone explain how KU leasing the facilities would save the university money? I thought owning your own property was the way to go? Or are they talking about saving that money in the short term? Surely leasing it for 30 years and then buying it (I assume this is the hoped for sequence of events) will be substantially more expensive down the line. This deal smells to me...
