KU could sue the NCAA. They could do that.

While it is easy to blame refs, I think the high odds against the accomplishments of the Virginia team are explained by:1. Their talent and coaching2. Multiple bailouts by referees. Not only at the end of the game but throughout each, Purdue, Auburn and TTech were each victimized by very poor calls that advantaged Virginia repeatedly. That is not Virginia's fault, but they made it as far as they did with help. Conspiracy believers might see a connection to the NCAA's, CBS's and ESPN's love of their conference that bleeds into an overall atmosphere of favoritism for all things ACC.I might be one of those.

Mike has it right: college bball needs another club. I'm really old and I witnessed the AFL's start in a similar situation: the reason that the Chiefs are in the NFL is because Lamar Hunt and others wouldn't accept the NFL's restrictive practices, started their own league and succeeded. Many of us wanted them not to join the NFL (as the AFC) when the NFL capitulated. The NCAA would also give in, if Duke, KU, MU, U of A, Louisville, UK and (I am sure) many others created a new non-NCAA league. March Madness would become the new NIT.I sure hope it happens.

You have to love these teammates - caring about each other and worrying more about the man than the game.

I get that, but at this point, I honestly don't care about vacated wins and records vs. this innocent young man's future.

If KU beats Villanova (yes, at home) without Dok, it would be ridiculous to drop them in the polls.

Agree, Dale. How is he not first team?

He did get it right: JH is great and it wasn't supposed to be close.

With the coaching change, I wonder if Carter Stanley will stay. He likely would have a fairer shot at playing now.
