D Lawson played great. Doke struggled a bit but we know what he can do. Vick actually looked more under control. We have good even great players at every position. Besides the turnovers, not really much to criticize. What did seem odd to me was that Allen Field House was quiet. Empty seats was not something we see but it was glaring. The crowd was not participating and even the Rock Chalk Chant was missing something. Hopefully the crowds get better and the turnovers go down other than that, this team has incredible potential.

Saying they embarrassed K-State is giving K-State to much credit.

We will all miss Devonte and Svi next year. They represent what KU is supposed to be. Classy players with talent and drive to win. I hope next years team can live up to the example set by these two starters. Clay gets a shout out as well what a great group of seniors to follow Mason who is still one of the best ever examples of what KU basketball players should strive to be.

Could not agree more.

KU played really well, and I am astonished they were able to beat OU today, I did not expect that. OU is great offensively but was off today. What they struggle with is defense because they played about 5 minutes in the second half of decent defense. It is going to be fun to watch all the big 12 games from here on and there will probably be Co-Champions again this year, this game gave KU a good chance to be one of them.

Free Bragg, Free Diallo.

It is getting tough to watch these games, I find myself hoping our starters foul out, only to find out that when one does foul out, still no Bragg and no Diallo.

He should let them transfer, there are more than enough schools that would give them minutes. Self's excuse that he cannot put Diallo and Bragg in situations where the team is struggling is not positive for the team. The starters have no fear of being replaced in the lineup or challenged for playing time and that leads to even more poor play and lack of effort and intensity.

I have never been this frustrated about a KU team and I have followed them for a very long time, since Coach Brown.

I guess we would not want Coach K to replace Coach Self because they fell out of the top 20 this week. You can probably forget Duke ever winning another National Championship with Coach K at the helm.

When I saw Diallo play at the McDonald's All American game, I thought if we could just get him we would have the final piece needed to compete for the NCAA championship, he looked that good.
After seeing Bragg play these first few games, I now am even more excited about this season. Our inside game has been adequate enough to continue the Big X12 streak but it has not been championship caliber. I think we now have a legitimate chance to dominate in all aspects, front court, back court and wing. We saw with Michigan State that we needed an inside stopper, we should not have lost that game but we did, I think Diallo just being in that game would have changed the dynamics at the end. We will see, but right now I am excited about this season more than the last few.
