Trae Young from Oklahoma might get 50 on our guards, and west Virginia's guards will chew ours up and spit them out. It amazes me to hear all this talk about all these ku players who will go pro next year, do any of these guys look like they can play at the next level? Sorry Svi and Devonte, I don't think either of you are good enough, and all the others would stay in school if they really want to go pro because they all need to get better, and if they go early they will get lost just like the other 75% of underclassmen who have gone pro recently have done.

I have seen quite a few of the other big 12 teams play and I think the streak could very well end this year, our guards are getting dominated, if Svi isn't hitting his shots early it really affects the rest of his game, Vick was pretty good but he doesn't show the mentality to take charge, for a senior Devonte seems to panic and starts jacking up long 3's to try and get us back, Udoka is not really effective offensively or defensively unless he is catching long passes, Garret should not be the one shooting 3's, they left him open for a reason, newman is hard to figure out and we have zero bench production. We have seen the last 2 teams come up with game plans to beat us and did it fairly easy, that's not good. I said to myself before the season that this might be a long season because we have no alpha dogs and no depth, it's starting to look like I might be right, let's hope not.

Thanks for the info on Maxwell, Tom Keegan.

Did I miss something, I haven't heard any mention of Evan Maxwell (I think that was his name) who transferred in, is he not with the team anymore? Help me out here.

I really hate to see us lose anybody to transfer, but this probably needed to happen for both sides, he just didn't seem to be focused on basketball at all, I was really excited to see his improvement from last year at the beginning of the season but it was brutal to watch him this year. Even with that said I was hoping he would rededicate himself this off season and help the team next year but I guess that's not what he wanted to do. I enjoyed his upbeat personality last year even when he wasn't playing alot, I wish him good luck going forward, I hope we can sign some more recruitsthat will help us next year and beyond.

So glad he went to Coleby, it is just painful to watch Bragg struggle so much, he misses point blank layups, can't catch the ball clean, doesn't rebound well, and is out of position on defense and gets dominated on defense which causes him to foul way too much, I hope he comes back next year and decides to dedicate himself to being a better Jayhawk, I don't think he was focused on basketball earlier this year and he was never able to get out of the hole that he put himself in, this was basically a wasted year for him and that's a sad deal.

Totally agree Mike, couldn't have said it better myself.

Good points Mike Greer and Tom Jones, I have been saying the same things about Bragg all year. He has played soft, he has struggled hanging on to the ball whether it be trying to grab a rebound or a pass. He doesn't miss as many bunnies as Lucas but he has missed more than he should. It shouldn't matter if he has to play the 5, he would have to be tougher than he has been if he was at the 4 as well. It is a privilege to play at KU and he hasn't lived up to the standards coach expects. I am sure he would get more minutes at k-state or some other lower level team but he chose KU and KU chose him, hopefully he will start focusing on basketball instead of off the court bs. Josh Jackson is playing out of position too, you don't see him using that as an excuse, instead he comes out and competes his butt off and does whatever he can to help the team be successful because he came to KU and wants the high expectations and pressure, he adapted to playing out of position because that's what great players do, Bragg would do well to learn something from Josh and not take the easy way out and transfer like some people have mentioned.

I am glad Bragg is back as much as anyone, he made some good contributions tonight but it amazes me how some people disrespect coach Self so much, they act like he doesn't know what he is doing, how on earth can he put Bragg in the same role as Dean wade when he has been suspended twice this year and clearly hasn't been focused on basketball all year, amazing.

They probably thought they had this game in the bag at halftime, up 14, already beat them at their place, and they lost again at home a few days ago. Not focused like they were against Kentucky and Baylor, giving up 18 3 pointers, having 21 turnovers against a team that doesn't pressure all over the court, not a sign they were locked in, I just hope they don't let k state out tough them again Monday night, KU better come ready to play or it will be 2 losses in a row. Got a gift with Baylor losing at home and we didn't take advantage of the opportunity.
